After an abysmal first few seasons of the franchise, the 1969 Mets surprised the country when they came out swinging to win the World Series that year against the heavily favored Baltimore Orioles. Team signed yearbooks from that year are without a doubt very rare. Offered here is a 1969 Official Mets Yearbook, an original from the time period, with 24 signatures from the World Champion team gracing the front cover. Signatures include Nolan Ryan, Tom Seaver, Tommie Agee, Cal Koonce, Tug McGraw, Bud Harrelson, Jerry Koosman, Don Cardwell, Donn Clendenon, Jerry Grote, Ed Charles, Al Weiss, Duffy Dyer, Rod Gaspar, Ed Yost, Ron Swoboda, Cleon Jones, Ed Kranepool, Art Shamsky, Ron Taylor, Al Weiss, Gary Gentry, and J.C. Martin. Please note that the Gil Hodges signature has been deemed a clubhouse. The book stands in overall good condition, with some wear and paper loss to the left side of the cover and a loosened centerfold. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA).
