This is a wonderful bit of correspondence from Hall of Famer Walter Johnson on Cleveland Baseball Company letterhead. The content of the letter is intriguing, with Johnson giving advice to a fan. Reads, in full,

"Managing a baseball team isn't greatly different from managing a business - it is largely a job of getting every one to play out the string, taking nothing for granted until the last man is out. - Walter Johnson"

Signed by Johnson in his attractive signature. A rare and desirable extensive handwritten specimen with incredible baseball-related content from one of the most desirable signers in early baseball! Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
