4.5" x 6.5" black & white candid photograph of Lyndon B. Johnson and his wife, Lady Bird, presenting themselves joyously on a visit to Phoenix in December 1959. Signed by the President and his First Lady in black ink along the border. Signatures from President Johnson are few and far between, and it is even more seldom seen to have him together with his wife on a photograph. In fine condition with light handling wear. Mounted on an off-white archival sheet to a total size of 6.5" x 9". The reverse of the mounting has a typewritten caption of the photo as well as the handwritten notation, "Signed September 1964, Washington D.C." Also includes a cut out newspaper photograph affixed to the reverse. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
