Ty Cobb's playing style cannot be summed up in one word, but if we had to choose one, it would be nothing other than ferocious. The Georgia Peach would grace the diamond for over 20 years, amassing over 4000 hits & an incredible .366 lifetime batting average. Cobb would be the first player in Major League Baseball history to reach the 4000 hit milestone while always playing with an attitude. Offered here is a 7.25" x 9.75" sepia toned M114 supplement from "Baseball Magazine" originally snapped by famed baseball photographer Charles Conlon (yes, the same Charles Conlon who took perhaps the most famous baseball of all time, that of Ty Cobb sliding into third base into Jimmy Austin). The magazine premium has been signed by Cobb in his typical green ballpoint pen vertically up his white pants leg, causing the ink to stand out incredibly. The page has been trimmed around the edges and creased once in the middle, but it stands in overall fine condition. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA).
