Rare signed letter by Robert Stroud "Birdman of Alcatraz", "Bob Stroud", dated July 26, 1942. A letter written to "Miss Mamie E. Stroud", informing her of the goings on in his prison and updating her on his most recent cases on avian hematology (bird blood). Intersecting folds, light toning, and a few trivial areas of spotting, otherwise fine condition.
