President Roosevelt appoints Alfred Balch as “Passed Assistant Surgeon in the Navy, with the Rank of Lieutenant.” Boldly signed at the conclusion by President Roosevelt and countersigned by Secretary of the Navy Charles H. Darling. In fair condition with handling wear and paper loss around the edges, and staining to the right hand side. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
