Land grant, 8.5 x 13", dated November 15, 1930, in which President Jackson grants a parcel of land to John Armstrong of Mercer County, Kentucky. Signed at the bottom as president, "Andrew Jackson," in black ink. Overall in fair condition with several vertical folds. Scattered toning and foxing throughout. The Presidential seal remains intact. Later in Jackson's administration, the task of signing land grants was relegated to the a secretary, so this document is rare! It is countersigned by the Commissioner of the General Land Office Elijah Hayward. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
