Terrific and intriguing handwritten letter with great content, five (5) pages, 8.5" x 11" unlined paper, penned circa March 2000 as identified by the mailing envelope. Gotti writes to a friend/associate regarding a number of topics, including his trial (though he states he can only speak on a limited basis about his case); over the course of the letter he even quotes Thomas Jefferson as it relates to news reporters and corruption. The letter is penned entirely in Gotti's hand and signed "Johnny" at the conclusion. In addition to five handwritten pages, the letter also includes the original transmittal envelope, which features Gotti's last name and prisoner number penned by him as well in black ink. Impressive! Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
