It was a rare occasion for Mariano Rivera to end up at the plate for an at bat. As a star closer, he only appeared on the opposing end of the pitcher's mound 6 times throughout his career. Offered here is a Louisville Slugger C243 Luis Sojo model bat used by Rivera for one of those instances. Since he didn't bat very often, he didn't have his own model of bat and used Sojo's when needed. This particular bat was used during his one at bat in 2000, during the epic Subway Series between the Yankees and the Mets. Although the bat has a labeling period of 1999, Rivera had no at bats during that season. The knob is marked with Rivera's nickname "MO" in black felt tip marker. It shows excellent use, including a handle crack, stitch impressions, and a spiral tape pattern on the handle. Don't miss your opportunity to own this seldom seen piece of Mariano Rivera memorabilia! Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
