Ultra-rare 1954 playbill signed just weeks prior to Joe DiMaggio & Marilyn Monroe's divorce, breaking up the first "Super Couple" in history! This original “The Teahouse of the August Moon” playbill is dated for the week of Monday, September 13th 1954. On September 15th Monroe would take part in her famous "The Seven Year Itch" photo shoot resulting in a jealous DiMaggio & the beginning of the end for the couple. Rumored to have been seen leaving a New York City hotel room the next morning covered in bruises, the Bombshell would file for divorce less than a month later. This stunning medium could be one of the last dual signed items to ever be graced by the couple, apart from their divorce papers. Dual signed items such as this are considered incredibly scarce with only a handful known to exist, with this being by far the cleanest example to ever hit the market with near-mint to mint signatures. Overall in fine condition with staining to the left spine. Authenticated by PSA/DNA with a full letter of authenticity.
