In October of 1993, Michael Jordan stunned the basketball world, retiring from the NBA at the age of 30, after nine seasons, and three NBA titles with the Chicago Bulls. Jordan would be quite emotional at the time of his departure citing the reason for his attempt at hardball due to the passing of his father, as that was his original dream for Michael. He would only spend one year away, taking a crack at minor league baseball with the Chicago White Sox organization, before returning to the Bulls in March of 1995. Jordan wouldn't hit his stride quite like he did in the NBA, but was no "spring chicken" in the minors as he held his own as the year went on. Offered here is a game used NIKE batting glove by Michael Jordan during his stint in the minors. Showing heavy use & remaining in fine condition. Accompanied by three playing cards showing photo-style matches. Authenticated by Michael Jordan expert Alan Meza with a full letter of authenticity.
