In the early 1990s there simply wasn't a bigger band on earth than Nirvana. Hailing from the shores of Seattle, Nirvana would take the music world by storm following the release of their 1991 LP Nevermind. Most notable for their grunge sound forged by lead singer Kurt Cobain, Nirvana would change the landscape of rock music over the course of only a few years. For many reasons, Nirvana group signed items are among the toughest in all the hobby, but most notably would be the introverted nature of Cobain that made obtaining his autograph nearly impossible. Reluctant to accept the fame, Cobain would find himself in a spiral due to his heroin addiction, which took his life on April 8th, 1994 - only three years after Nirvana's initial success. Offered here is an 8" x 10" black & white David Geffen Company promotional photograph that has been signed by all three members of the band - Kurt Cobain, David Grohl & Krist Novoselic - in the band's infancy c. 1991.
