Partly-printed DS as president, one page, 14" x 18", September 25, 1863. President Lincoln appoints George Morgan to Colonel. Signed at the conclusion by Lincoln and countersigned by Secretary of War Edwin M. Stanton. In fine condition, with intersecting folds, with a horizontal fold touching the top of Lincoln’s signature, some scattered light toning and soiling, and a couple of trivial spots.
