Many will remember the late great John F. Kennedy as a advocate of peace who was struck down by violence, a common occurrence in the political World sadly. Helping the Camelot team with their ideology of Peace was no other than Sargent Shriver. Serving in the Kennedy and Johnson administrations, Shriver was the driving force behind the creation of the Peace Corps, founded the Job Corps, Head Start and other programs as the "architect" of Johnson's "War on Poverty" and served as the U.S. Ambassador to France. Despite being in the shadows in this rare 8" x 10" black & white image of him and the President, Shriver was indeed at the forefront of many important projects, some still seen today. Offered here is a dual signed 8" x 10" photograph of the two peace pioneers in bold black ballpoint with each adding a personalization. Overall the photo remains in fine condition with handling wear to the edges & minor surface impressions. Authenticated by Beckett Authentication Services/Steve Grad with a full letter of authenticity.
