On July 29, 1981, the whole world stopped to watch the wedding of the century, as Prince Charles married Diana Spencer at St. Paul's Cathedral. Despite their royal status, they still had responsibilities pertaining to the wedding even months afterward, just as any newlyweds would. Offered here is a thank you letter to a "Mrs. Blyth" of the Duchy on official Buckingham Palace letterhead. The letter details the couple's gratitude for the mahogany library table and generous monetary gift that Mrs. Blyth and the rest of the Duchy gave for the wedding. With warm wishes and clear affection for the Duchy, Diana and Charles both sign off at the bottom of the typed letter in black ink, "Yours Most Sincerely, Diana" and "Charles". In fine condition with two horizontal folds, as is typical for a mailed letter. A fantastic commemorative relic from the wedding that had people talking for years to come! Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
