Original gatefold to the 1974 classic "Queen II" album, signed on the portrait in black felt tip by Freddie Mercury, Brian May, John Deacon, and Roger Taylor.
A project that spanned FIVE decades to complete, the autographs of Mercury, Deacon and Taylor were obtained in-person in February of 1976 at an in-store appearance by the band at a New York City record store. Prior to the signing, May came down with an illness and was unable to attend. Over 40 years after being originally signed, May's signature was obtained c. 2017 to complete the piece while Queen was on tour in the United States.
Signatures are perfectly placed next to each respective member. Exhibits some minor surface wear and soiling and some light bubbling to the signatures of Mercury, Taylor and Deacon. Attractively double-matted in a black mat with gold underlay accent along with an image of the cover of the album. One of the most desirable formats to have this coveted grouping of iconic rock autographs! Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
