Vintage glossy 6" x 8" photo of Robert Ripley at his easel and holding a pencil, cleverly signed and inscribed in bold black ink, "To—Packey O'Gatty, from his friend, Ripley—All the best, 'Believe it or not,' Leviathan, May-1931.” In very good to fine condition, with a short tear to the right edge, and creasing primarily to the perimeter. Nicknamed the 'Speed Demon,' Packey O'Gatty was an American featherweight boxer who finished his career with 52 wins and 11 losses.
