Scarce Signed Ticket from Clemente's First World Series Championship

The 1960 World Series was a strange one. It is most notable for the Game 7, ninth-inning home run hit by Bill Mazeroski, the only time a winner-take-all World Series game has ended with a walk-off home run. Perhaps even more significant, though, is that despite losing the series, the Yankees scored 55 runs, the most runs scored by any one team in World Series history, a unique record, and more than twice as many as the Pirates, who scored 27 runs. The Series MVP was Bobby Richardson of the Yankees, the only time in history that that award has been given to a member of the losing team. Despite this, the Roberto Clemente and his Pittsburgh Pirates were able to pull off the overall win and take hime the franchise's third World Championship. Offered here is a RARE Game 4 ticket stub for that Series, signed by Roberto Clemente himself, "To Ray, Roberto Clemente", with an incredibly bold blue ballpoint autograph. The ticket remains in fine condition with some handling wear and tape residue to the top and bottom. Authenticated & encapsulated by PSA/DNA.
