Sublime hit the stage in Souther California in 1988, belting out a ska/punk beach vibe that to this day hasn't been replicated. Gaining their uprising with such stars as Slightly Stoopid & Gwen Stefani, Sublime offered audiences a more mellow type of music during the largely popular Grunge scene. Lead by Bradly Nowell, Sublime wouldn't see immediate success behind the musical star, but with a little inspiration from Band mascot in 1990 helped Bradley produce the 1992 hit album "40oz. to Freedom." While the adopted formerly abused dalmatian puppy known as "Lou Dog" didn't produce any material for the band, the animals importance cannot be understated to their overall sound & image. Between the short period of 1992-95, Sublime would see domestic success, especially in Southern California, but it wasn't until the 1995 when the band co-headlined the inaugural nationwide Vans Warped Tour that things really took off Inter/nationally. Offered here is a 1995 AXIS Orlando newspaper print cover, 10" x 13", signed by all three members of the elusive band, Bradly Nowell, Eric Wilson & Bud Gaugh, with each adding an inscription or sketch to the AXIS members to which the magazine was obtained. Overall in fine condition with minor discoloration, handling wear, and a minor tear to the right side not impacting any signatures. It's worth noting, not only is this the first time we have ever handled an authentic Sublime item, but we can say with near 100% confidence the first time ANY authentic Sublime item has been offered to the public. An absolute centerpiece & investment grade true rarity in the ever more popular 1990's music market. Authenticated by James Spence Authentication (JSA) with a full letter of authenticity.
