With the original television series cancelled in 1969, Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry lobbied Paramount Pictures to continue the franchise through a feature film. The success of the series in syndication convinced the studio to begin work on the film beginning in 1975. Offered here is a 1979 Paramount Pictures promotional photograph of the cast, signed by an astounding 14 members of the cast and crew, including Leonard Nimoy, DeForrest Kelly, George Takei, James Doohan, William Shatner, Gene Roddenberry, Persis Khambatta, Walter Koenig, Stephen Collins, Majel Barrett, Nichelle Nichols, and more. This is by far the most extensive cast of signatures we have ever offered for the original cast of the franchise! In good condition.
