From 1960 to 2000, the formally New York Giants, now San Francisco Giants would make the west coast transition in Candlestick Park. With historic games from the Giants, 49ers, along with live performances from The Beatles, the Stadium itself is one of the most famous multi-sport venues on the West Coast. Starting the inaugural game at the stadium was Stu Miller of the Giants. Offered here is an extremely rare relic originating from that historic first game on April 12th, 1960, signed & inscribed dating the sphere by pitcher Stu Miller. Overall in fine condition with extreme use and minor water damage. A photograph of Stu Miller with this exact sphere is being offered as additional providence as with Stu's passing in 2015, the story went along with him. Authenticated by JSA with a full letter of authenticity.
