In the early 1990's there simply wasn't a bigger band on earth than Nirvana. Hailing from the shores of Seattle, Nirvana would take the music world by storm following the release of their 1991 LP Nevermind. Nirvana would change the landscape of rock music over the course of only a few years with the grunge sounds forged by Kurt Cobain, which would become the defining genre for the time period. For many reasons, Nirvana group signed items are amongst the toughest in all of the hobby. Most notably, the introverted nature of Cobain made autograph requests nearly impossible. Reluctant to accept the sudden fame, Cobain would find himself in a spiral due to his heroin addiction, which took his life on April 8th, 1994 - only three years after Nirvana's initial success. Offered here is an 8" x 10" black & white David Geffen Company promotional photo that has been signed by all three members of the band - Kurt Cobain (with his "Kurdt" autograph), David Grohl & Krist Novoselic in the bands infancy c. 1991.
