A choice investment piece for the Beatlemaniac, offered here is an original 1970s album pressing for the Beatles' final studio album, "Let It Be", handsomely signed along the cover over his image by John Lennon in red ballpoint pen. The cover exhibits some minor wear to the edges and corners and some surface rubbing, but stands in overall good condition. The record is included. While any authentically signed Beatles album featuring Lennon is rare, very few signed examples of "Let it Be" are in existence - this is the first we have ever had the pleasure of offering. Deemed one of the Greatest Albums of All-Time by Rolling Stone magazine, "Let it Be" features The Beatles' musicianship at it's finest. This particular album was signed on the weekend of May 16, 1975 at the WFIL radio station in Philadelphia where he was a guest DJ for three days, benefitting the Helping Hands Marathon Charity for the handicapped. John mingled with fans during several moments that weekend chatting and signing autographs between his duties as guest DJ. A lucky fan got this album cover signed at that time. A fantastic item from this historic weekend in John's history in the U.S. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
