The Yardbirds are an English rock band that had a string of hits in the mid-1960s, including "For Your Love", "Over Under Sideways Down" and "Heart Full of Soul". While the group isn't necessarily known as one of the better known groups from their generation, The Yardbirds did serve an important function in the evolution of rock. Serving as a stepping stone for some of the greatest guitarists ever, the group is notable for having started the careers of three of rock's most famous guitarists: Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page (all of whom are in the top five of Rolling Stone's 100 Top Guitarists list).
Standing as the only one of it's kind that we know of, this Fender Telecaster guitar bears the signatures of the Yardbirds' elite guitarist alumni, with Jimmy Page signing on the pickguard and Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton signing on the body. To have any one of these iconic guitarist on a guitar by themselves alone would be a feat, as all three legends stopped signing guitars years ago. But, to have all three on a guitar together is about as rare as it gets!
The guitar exhibits some light handling wear including some light chipping to the finish along the edges and some light wear signs giving indication that the guitar may have been lightly used prior to being signed by the trio. In overall very good condition. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
