Such would be the case if any multi-signed baseball baring Ruth, Gehrig & DiMaggio came into the office, let alone a sphere that was used during the World Series! Offered here is a stunning relic that pays homage to over 30 years of Yankees dominance that has been signed by some of the best to ever exhibit the Yankee's uniform! This red-stiched game-used baseball has been graced by ten attendees/players of the 1937 World Series between the Yankees & Giants that would end promptly in five games due to a dominating Yankees performance, something known all to well by opposing squads during the 20's-60's. Signatures in fountain pen include: Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Joe DiMaggio Lefty Gomez, Mickey Cochrane, Joe McCarthy, Blondy Ryan, Frank Makosky, Paul Schreiber, and Pat Malone. The ball's World Series provenance is based upon the vintage blue-ink notation on the south panel that reads "Oct 7th 1937 World Series Yankee Stadium." The Yankees defeated the Giants 8-1 in Game 2 of the 1937 World Series held on October 7th at Yankee Stadium. It's worth noting that we have handled many vintage Yankee's items over our years, but this serves as the first & possibly only sphere that we have ever seen/encountered that encompasses all three Yankee legends. A true one-of-a-kind offering that surely can upgrade any baseball collection. Overall in fine condition with the ball showing even heavy use throughout.
