Offered is a group of 8 assorted "Living Legends" signed limited edition lithographs, which were originally advertised in Sports Illustrated magazine beginning in 1974. These rare productions feature the artwork of renowned illustrators such as Gustav Rehberger, Harvey Dinnerstein, Bob Peak, Daniel Schwartz and Bernie Fuchs. The fabulous gathering contains a number of desirable examples, and the subjects rendered have added their pencil autographs to the lower margin (all "9-10"). Includes: Jack Dempsey vs. Gene Tunney; Rod Laver; Joe Louis vs. Max Schmelling; Billie Jean King; Stan Musial; Wilt Chamberlain and John Havlicek; Johnny Unitas. Each litho is set within a polished silver frame. Moisture exposure is evident within the mats and the edges of the lithos, however re-framing would likely eliminate most of this issue.
