Hampered during his career by bouts of alcoholism and epilepsy, Hall of Fame hurler Grover Cleveland Alexander often showed the symptoms and effects of both—and was usually left alone in his despair, as few could determine exactly which ailment was taking control. Perhaps a product of these woes, Alexander kept conversation and personal interaction to a minimum. Despite his ailments, one thing was for certain: the man could pitch!

Offered here is an attractive custom framed display that houses a choice fountain pen autograph from the baseball legend that reads, “Yours, Grover C. Alexander” (a rare near full name autograph—most of Alexander’s autographs were simply “G.C. Alexander”). The signature is penned within a 3.5” x 4” sheet and tastefully matted along with an 8” x 10” image of Alexander from his playing days.

Alexander, a member of the inaugural Baseball Hall of Fame Class of 1939, remains one of the rarest autographs of any Hall of Famer. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
