Offered here is a Rawlings official National League (Feeney) baseball hand signed by former President Nixon along the sweet spot in ballpoint pen. According to the consignor, this signature acquired on this ball when Nixon attended a baseball game (Nixon was an avid fan of the sport) in the 1970s. Based on the stampings on the baseball, and the fact that Charles Feeney served as NL president through 1976, this ball was likely signed right before President Nixon left office (1974) or a few years after his departure from the White House.

The ball exhibits moderate uniform toning and exhibits various scuff and markings consistent with game usage. Nixon's signature is lighter but completely legible and visible, rating a solid "6" overall. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA).
