Original Western Union Telegram, July 18, 1961, sent by Mrs. Ty Cobb the day after the baseball legend's passing. Acknowledging a prior message of condolence received from photographer Gary Hobson, Mrs. Cobb invites Hobson to Cobb's memorial service. Telegram exhibits some moderate handling wear and paper loss along the upper left edge, however all text is intact.
