This letter, dated June 6, 1958, was sent to Mr. Roger White of The Ramblers Quartet to thank him for providing musical entertainment at a White House dinner on June 4. Reads, in part: "The songs themselves brought many nostalgic memories to our American guests, and I know also gave great pleasure to our friends from Germany." The letter is typed on official White House letterhead and is accompanied by the original mailing envelope. It is also accompanied by the official program from the dinner featuring the gold-embossed Presidential Seal, an official White House pass, and photos and a newspaper article related to the event. A letter featuring great content with irrefutable provenance! Signed boldly by the President in black fountain pen. In fine condition with some toning due to age. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
