Uncommon handwritten letter in graphite pencil, personal letterhead, July 27, 1931. Writing to a friend, Earhart expresses her disappointment in not seeing her friend on her last visit to Abilene. Earhart also briefly discusses a crash landing that occurred, however she claims it was the result of a co-pilot. Fully accomplished in her hand and signed "Amelia Earhart" at the conclusion. Well preserved and in excellent condition. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
