Offered here is a typed letter, measuring 8.5" x 11" and dated July 28, 1953, on New York Yankees letterhead, thanking a fan for an autograph request. Obliging the request, Mickey Mantle has signed at the conclusion wih a nice early career autograph. In overall fine condition, the letter has two horizontal folds from mailing and exhibits general handling wear. The letter is accompanied by the original mailing envelope with a Yankee Stadium return address. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
