Ralph McQuarrie Lot of Five (5) 11" x 14" Star Wars Concept Art Prints (Beckett/BAS Guaranteed)(Steve Grad Collection)

Ralph McQuarrie is undoubtedly one of the most influential creative forces in Star Wars history. His initial concept artwork and sketches helped create numerous memorable characters in the film and perhaps more importantly helped assist Lucas to prove to 20th Century Fox that "Star Wars" was a project worth funding (and thank goodness they did!).

Presented here in this special auction offering is a lot of five (5) 11" x 14" color prints, each showcasing a conceptual art sketch done by McQuarrie in the beginning design and preparation stages of the film's creation. The sketches provide a unique look into the initial renderings of various scenes and characters in the film. Each print is nicely hand signed "R. McQ." by McQuarrie along the lower right border.
