What else can be said about Michael Jordan? He was the greatest basketball player to ever play the game and in 2009 was elected into the Basketball Hall of Fame, naturally on the first ballot. This Upper Deck Limited Edition basketball is absolutely mint with an exceedingly rare limited edition size of only 23. The ball is Wilson manufactured. It has been signed “Michael Jeffrey Jordan” which is extremely rare in itself. The signature is done in black marker and rates a strong 9. Beneath the signature is “1/23” written in black marker. Making this ball even scarcer is the fact that it’s the first in the edition of only 23. Typically Upper deck would hold onto the first issued ball or 23rd issued (in Jordan’s case) unless a generous offer was presented to them. Offered here is an extremely rare example of the first edition of such a small signing making this arguably the finest of all 23 issued. Also adding to this ball’s allure is the fact that Jordan promised to never sign again in this full name fashion, making this ball a once in a lifetime find!
