One of the best Lennon signed items we have ever offered, this is among the best of less than 10 copies of this album known to be signed by John Lennon. Of course, the title track has become his most beloved song. The ultimate collectible for the Lennon fan! A full sized U.S. album cover signed on the front in bold red ballpoint pen. Lennon signed this album cover the weekend of May 16-18, 1975 at the "WFIL Helping Hands Marathon" fundraising event in Philadelphia. The event was held at the radio station WFIL, and Lennon attended all three days - a historic event an something he had never done before, nor would he do after. At times throughout the weekend, when he wasn't guest DJing, he would step out and sign for and greet the fans who gathered around. The cover is in very good condition, with no seam splits. Some small handling wear to the edges and corners, with some aging and a few flecks on the edge - overall very nice! Accompanied by full Letter of Authenticity from Frank Caiazzo. Original vinyl included!
