Enthusiasts who seek to obtain signatures from the twelve men who once walked on the moon know there is a crowning jewel to such collections—Neil Armstrong. Similar to Babe Ruth's relationship to baseball collections, a space/NASA collection just is not complete with the signature of The First Man. The Ohio native was not only the first man to set foot on the lunar surface, but was also notorious as the most reluctant signer among Apollo astronauts. Offered is an extremely rare un-inscribed 8" x 10" black & white NASA portrait photograph bearing the black ink scripting of "Neil Armstrong." Inscribed versions of this photo are quite prevalent while un-inscribed examples such as this sell at an extreme premium due to their rarity. Overall in fine condition. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS), as well as an LOA from noted space authenticator Steve Zarelli.
