Sir Alec Guinness hand written thank you note, dated July 16, 1980, in blue felt tip pen on his personal stationary. Reads, in full: "My dear Ingrid and Paul - Thank you so much for a super evening. I'm so touched at the way you take care of me at your grand functions, making sure I'm not lost. Here is the [Unknown] book, which I am finding delightful. Have a lovely [unknown]. Love, Alec". Guinness is best known for his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi in the original Star Wars trilogy. This scarce 3.5" x 5.5" handwritten offering is executed beautifully. In overall fine condition.
