Simply stated, no game worn football jersey collection is complete without the inclusion of an Emmitt Smith gamer. The NFL's all-time leading rusher is an esteemed member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, was a league MVP in 1993, was named to eight Pro Bowls and led his Dallas squad to three Super Bowl championships - the list goes on and on.

On the front left tail is the "REEBOK" manufacturers tag. Attached to that are additional manufacturers tags with the jersey size "46" and "04" on them. On the front, back and on each shoulder is the player number "22." Across the back is "E. SMITH" on a white name plate. All lettering and numbering is done in red tackle twill. On the front at the neck is the official "NFL Equipment" logo patch. On each sleeve below the numbers is the "REEBOK" embroidered logo and “ARIZONA” flag patch. This jersey has white spandex sides and custom elastic sleeves.

This white mesh gamer hails from Smith's tenure with the Arizona Cardinals in 2004. While Emmitt had a relatively quiet game of 31 yards on 13 carries, the game did showcase his 156th career touchdown on a 1-yard scamper late in the 3rd quarter. Furthermore, it is evident that Emmitt earned every one of those 31 yards against the vaunted New England defense, as this jersey exhibits excellent wear, including numerous grass stains, impact marks and transfer markings along the shoulder area. The front number "2" also exhibits heavy rubbing wear from Emmitt tightly gripping the ball close to his body. The wear on this jersey is so abundant and easily identifiable that it has helped the game used experts at Sports Investors Authentication (SIA) to conclusively photo-match this jersey to the game versus New England on September 19, 2004.

This gamer comes with a solid assortment of provenance, including a bold silver metallic marker autograph and inscription direct from Emmitt on the reverse where he confirms the game usage, signing his name and adding "TD #156 vs Patriots 9/19/04." The autograph showcases Emmitt's personal PROVA authentication sticker along with a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS) and a full Letter of Photomatching from Sports Investors Authentication (SIA).
