A rare find from The Beach Boys, offered here is a vintage "The Beach Boys Today!" album signed by their late drummer, Dennis Wilson. The middle brother of fellow band members Brian and Carl Wilson, Dennis unfortunately began struggling with drug and alcohol abuse at an early age. After a few brief stints in and out of rehabs and hospitals, he drowned in Marina Del Ray, California in 1983 at the age of only 39. To date, this is the first Dennis Wilson autograph we have offered in our auctions. The album is signed on the reverse of the cover in blue ballpoint, "To Steve, Thank you - Dennis Wilson". The cover itself exhibits some surface rubbing and handling wear, with light rubbing also affecting the autograph. Regardless, this is a seldom seen and desirable item for any music collector! Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
