Large and impressive Presidential appointment in which Theodore Roosevelt nominates Mr. Edson Bishop to the role of Marshall in the District of Connecticut for a period of four years, dated December 11, 1902. Handsomely signed by Roosevelt and the US Attorney General in black ink, with signature rating "7-8" overall. This document is mounted to a larger archival board for added support and can be easily matted and framed for increased visual appeal.
