A supremely rare fully autographed Led Zeppelin 1980 concert ticket that has been signed in blue ballpoint pen. The ticket is for the group’s performance that took place at Forest Vorst International, Brussels, Belgium 20th June 1980. This was the third date of the group’s final tour and had been rescheduled from 5th June 1980. The autographs were obtained immediately following the show at Led Zeppelin’s hotel, The Sheraton in Brussels. The recipient encountered all four bandmembers in the hotel bar. The signed ticket comes with a GUEST pass with the dates 21st June 1980 at the top in ballpoint pen, this show took place in Rotterdam, Holland around 95 miles away from Brussels. A jovial John Bonham arranged, via Harvey Goldsmith, for tickets and guest pass to be provided to the Rotterdam show the following night.
The signed ticket measures 7cm x 8.75cm (2.75 inches x 3.5 inches) and is in excellent condition. To date, with more than 500 Led Zeppelin concerts performed, this is only the second fully-signed concert ticket to surface. Complete Zeppelin sets are scarce to begin with, but this unique ticket format signed by the complete band on their final tour makes this a prized Zeppelin collectible of the highest order.
