In addition, Cobb pens his response to a question regarding the results of that year's American League: "Regards finish of American League think Cleveland now with their pitching staff should win, with the double header coming up, but the Yankees are always a game club." Single page dated 8/16/51 on Cobb's personal letterhead is penned in 10/10 green ink, including closing "Regards, Ty Cobb" signature. The letter presents beautifully and contains excellent baseball content! Baseball collectors take notice! Accompanied by the original mailing envelope.
