In August of 1989, the Red Hot Chili Peppers released their album “Mother’s Milk”. It featured an oversized image of model Dawn Alane with miniature images of the band members in her arms. The album cover we all know now features a flower covering her nipple, but the original release showed her nude without any flower. Many retail locations refused to sell the album due to the nudity, so they had to re-release the album and promotional items with the flower censoring it. The record label initially sent out a very small amount of promo posters to retailers featuring the uncensored cover before having to reissue the edited version. Offered here is an INCREDIBLY rare original 1989 uncensored promotional poster signed by all four members of the band - Anthony Kiedis, Flea, John Frusciante, and Chad Smith. Mother's Milk was the first album to feature John Frusciante, as he had replaced Hillel Slovak when Slovak passed away. The poster is in overall good condition with huge signatures.
