Typed letter signed as President, 7" x 9", one page, White House letterhead, August 9, 1946. Truman briefly thanks Hon. George Thomas Washington, Assistant Solicitor General, for a note and assures him that both himself and the Attorney General would be pleased with his record upon review. Signed at the conclusion in black ink and in overall fine condition with a horizontal crease and some running to part of the autograph. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
