This letter, dated July 3rd, 1918, is on Kansas City Star letterhead (Roosevelt had written a column for the Star in 1917, which was syndicated to 50 other newspapers until his death in 1919). The letter is written to a Mr. J.H. Snodgrass with intriguing content regarding World War I and then-President Woodrow Wilson's actions with the Allied forces. Roosevelt himself has crossed some text out and input handwritten corrections. There are several intersecting vertical and horizontal creases as well as light toning, but in overall fine condition. Authenticated & encapsulated by Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
