Presented here is a seldom seen single signed Satchel Paige baseball. The red ink signature of the incomparable Leroy Robert Paige, known by all as "Satchel," graces the side panel of this toned OAL (MacPhail) ball. A strong and affordable example of a coveted addition to any single signed baseball collection. One of the greatest pitchers in Negro League history, Paige later became the first black pitcher in the American League and helped lead the Cleveland Indians to the 1948 World Championship. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1971. Accompanied by full Letter of Authentication from James Spence Authentication (JSA).
