Now making a name for himself with the Yankees, Giancarlo (née Mike) Stanton played his first 8 seasons in the Big Leagues with the Florida Marlins. He is one of the biggest power hitters in the league - in 2011, his average home run distance was 416.6 feet with an average off-bat speed of 107.4 MPH. This Louisville Slugger P147 model baseball bat was ordered by Stanton and used during his 2010 rookie season. The bat exhibits outstanding use, including a handle crack that has been repaird. Ball, stitch, and cleat marks are seen all along the barrel, as well as an impression from weighted batting donut. There is also a moderate coat of pine tar on the handle. The date of manufacture, length and weight of the bat are stamped on the knob, with Stanton's number written in black felt tip marker. It doesn't get much better than this from the 2x Silver Slugger! Accompanied by a full Letter of Grading & Authenticity with the bat receiving a grade of GU 9.5 from PSA/DNA!
