Presented is a marvelous Babe Ruth single signed & hand written note. Babe Ruth’s exploits on and off the baseball diamond remain the stuff of legend after nearly a century’s passing. His towering home runs, his role as savior of the sport following the Black Sox scandal of 1919, his remarkable rapport with his youngest fans, and his robust, good-natured persona ... all of these qualities, and more, make him the true King of the Diamond. While Ruth did sign quite a bit, hand written items in any form are considered the utmost rarity. This original 2.5" x 3.5" album page reads, "Hello Leslie, Come back soon. Sincerely, Babe Ruth". The page has some toning and surface rubbing, but stands overall well-preserved for its age, with the Babe's steel tip inscription and signature remaining strong.
