The Eagles made their debut in 1971 with a country-flavored rock. After chronicling America throughout the 1970s (a time of rapidly changing social mores), the Eagles broke up in 1980—only to reunite in 1994 for a new album and tour. They released four consecutive #1 albums between 1975 and 1979, and given their musical abilities and longevity, they have carved out a legacy as one of the greatest bands in modern history. Offered here is a rarity in any form--and an extraordinary find in this condition. This complete band signed "Hotel California" album is the finest we have ever handled! All five members have placed superb signatures on this album cover, with Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Joe Walsh and Don Felder signing in black felt tip marker, and Randy Meisner capping things off in silver metallic marker.
Obtained in-person in the 1990s, this album has been meticulously handled, and aside from some trivial edge wear this piece stands in excellent condition. While signed examples of this album are desirable in any form, the condition and signature quality on this specimen make it a truly exceptional offering.
