Twelve players have won the coveted Triple Crown in baseball. The feat is one of the hardest to accomplish because it is impossible for a player to win the Triple Crown if he goes through an extended slump in a season. While a gathering of signatures from the last few Triple Crown winners (Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams, Carl Yastrzemski and Frank Robinson) is desirable in any form, there are few more rare or desirable than what is presented in this lot. Offered here is an Official American League (Brown), beautifully hand signed in blue ballpoint pen by Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams, Carl Yastrzemski and Frank Robinson. What makes this item really incredible is the added inscriptions from each of the players. For the first time that we have seen, each player has added his Triple Crown year(s) along with his autograph - "1942-1947" for Williams, "T.C. 1956" for Mantle, "1966" for Robinson (penned in his hand but at a different time from the autograph), and "1967" for Yastrzemski. The end result of this combination of autographs and inscriptions is an awesome investment grade baseball relic! In fine condition with light even toning and some minor saturation to the signatures.
